- How do I register at Angels Academy ?

1. Complete the online registration form and submit it to us.
2. E-mail a recent Passport size photograph
3. E-mail a copy of the information page of your passport (with photograph, name, address, birth date etc).
4. E-mail your passport number. - Must I have a visa to enter Trinidad?
You do not need a visa to enter Trinidad and Tobago. The Academy will send you a letter of acceptance which you show to the immigration officer when you arrive in Trinidad and Tobago. The immigration officer will give you a waiver visa for two weeks in which time you must apply for the student permit. The waiver visa will cost approximately US $10.
Requirements for Entering Trinidad and Tobago :
1. You must have a valid travel document / passport.
2. You must have a valid return ticket to your home country.
3. You must have sufficient funds for your upkeep during your stay in Trinidad and Tobago.
4. You must provide a proper local address - How do I apply for a student permit ?
Within the first two weeks we assist you to apply for the student permit. The first step is to get an appointment for an interview with an immigration officer at the immigration office on Frederick Street, Port of Spain. The second step is to attend the interview with all the necessary documents including a letter from the Academy. During the interview the officer will ask you to pay part of the fees. Once you meet all the necessary requirements, Immigration will issue the student permit. When you go to collect the student permit, you must pay the balance of the fees.
- How do I pay the course fees?
Methods of payment
1. Electronic transfer from bank to bank or by Western Union
2. By cash in US dollars or TT dollars
3. By Master Card or Visa Card
Fees must be paid in advance before the start of the course. Once you have started the course there will be no refunds.
4. Once payment has been made we will give you a receipt which you must keep to show the immigration officer at the interview. - Can I use a credit card or debit card to get cash?
You can get a cash advance with your credit card at an ATM Machine at any of the four major banks ( RBTT , Republic Bank, Scotia Bank, First Citizens Bank ).
- What accommodation options are available?
The academy will assist you in finding accommodation, and will send you a list of different options to choose from.

Rooms in family home:
- A room with a shared bathroom and kitchen (with fan )
- A shared room with shared bathroom and kitchen (with fan)
- A room with a shared bathroom and kitchen ( with air-conditioning )
- A shared room with shared bathroom and kitchen ( with air-conditioning )
- A room with a private bathroom and shared kitchen ( with air-conditioning )
Self-contained apartments with or without air conditioning
- One, two, three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, lounge.
N.B. Prices and availability vary according to the time of year. None of our accommodation options provide food. Payment for accommodation is made directly to the owner of the house / apartment.
A charge of US$30 will be made for second placements if you decide to change accommodation with our assistance.
- How much money do I need a week for living expenses?
On average, if you cook for yourself, you may spend between TT$350-$400 per week on food and drinks. If you buy ready-made meals everyday, with a drinks, you will need about $500. In General taxi fares cost between $ 3.00 to $ 8.00 per person, per trip.
- Is there a discount if I start a course late, or finish early?
There are no discounts and no refunds. However, in case of illness, you may qualify to finish your course at a later date.
- What materials do I need to take to class?
Angels supplies you with a folder for loose leaf documents.
You need one notebook to record class-work, pencils, pens, and erasers.
You should keep a loose leaf notebook at home for homework assignments.
If you have a laptop (optional) it will be helpful for presentations and research.
Although Angels has dictionaries, you may wish to purchase your own.
