Steps for Registration

1. Complete the on-line Registration form and submit it to us. Register Now!
2. We will acknowledge receipt of your form and send you more details.

Details needed

  • Passport size photograph
  • A copy of information page of passport (with photograph, name address,birth date etc).
  • Passport number
  • After we receive this information we will send the payment details.

3. On receipt of your payment, we will send you a letter of acceptance. Give this letter to the Immigration Officer when you arrive at Piarco Airport. He will give you a 'waiver visa' for 2 weeks. The 'waiver visa' costs aproximately U.S.$6 (TT $30.00).

4. A member of Angels Academy will pick you up at Piarco, and take you to your accommodation address.

5. When you start your course, Angels will give you a formal letter of acceptance. You take this letter, your receipt for the fees, your accommodation receipt,passport and return ticket to the Immigration Office, and Immigration Officer will then grant the student visa, for a cost of between TT $700.00

Accommodation

Angels Academy will help you make arrangements for accommodation. Choose the type of accommodation your prefer. Inform the Academy of your choice, and we will make the necessary arrangements. Alternatively, you may ask us for a list of accommodation addresses, and make your own arrangements. The cost and type of accommodation is dependent on what is available at the time.

Entry requirements for visitors to Trinidad and Tobago

  • Every person must have a valid travel document or passport on arrival to Trinidad and Tobago
  • All foreigners must have a return ticket to his/her homeland or country of residence.
  • You must have sufficient funds for your stay in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Non citizens and residents of Trinidad and Tobago must provide a proper local address.
  • Countries that require a visa for entry into Trinidad and Tobago must be in possesion of the visa
  • Every person seeking admission to Trinidad and Tobago on arrival must complete an immigration E/D Card
  • A person seeking to come to Trinidad and Tobago for any other purpose than tourism must provide a security deposit or landing bond:
    Work permit
    Student permit
    Missionary permit
    Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification

Student Permit

  • All applications are subject to approval of the chief Immigration Officer.
  • Non citizens and non-residents of Trinidad and Tobago wishing to engage in studies or training in Trinidad and Tobago require student permits.
  • A student permit when Issued shall be valid for not more than one (1) year and may be renewed subject to re-application.

Persons who are eligible to apply for student permits:

Persons 16 years and over, coming form tertiary education, technical training, religious studies or English as a second Language (ESL) or GCE/CXC O'level/A'level classes (Caricom citizens only) at private institutions.

ESL students must be nationals of the Americas only.

Please also note:

US citizens / European Union residents
Tourist or Business Travel:

  • Passport must be valid for 3 months longer than you intend to stay in the country.
  • You must have tickets and documents for return or onward travel.
  • No visa is required for US citizens, European Union residents, or countries such as Swizterland, Liechtenstein, Israel, Brazil, Colombia, South Korea, Turkey, Norway, which have visa agreements with Trinidad to stay up to 3 months.
  • If however, you wish to travel to Trinidad and Tobago for any other reason: employment, adoption, study, immigration - or you wish to stay longer than the 3 months time period, please contact your nearest embassy, or contact us for specific requirements.
